CRIME UPDATE

Selborne - break to churchyard shed and theft of mower 1/2-14/2
Four Marks – reports of anti-social behaviour involving groups of juveniles who congregate in the Oakgreen Parade & Hazel Road areas.
Ropley – theft of Farrari which had broken down at Hedge Corner & burglary to outbuilding in farm location – stolen quad bikes
Medstead – arson to new development at Station Approach
Alton – Dispersal Order is having a positive effect with a drop in complaints about youths gathering outside shops.

The Community Safety Team is now in place at Penns Place and preparing for the launch of the Safer Neighbourhoods Model on 1^st April. The team now comprises of:

Karen Dawes – Community Safety Co-ordinator
Natalie Doig – Anti-Social Behaviour Officer
Philip Codrai – Community Safety Analyst
PC Helen Murphy & PC Jo Utting – Community Safety Liaison Officers

The Safer Neighbourhood Teams, District Councillors and members of the community will be identifying their community priorities, and the details provided to the Tasking and Co-ordinating Group at EHDC. This will allow the direction of resources from the Police, Council and other partner agencies to be appropriate and relevant to these priorities.
